Kamar yadda aka sani ne imamancin kowani Imami daga cikin Imaman Ahlulbaiti (a.s) na farawa ne daga lokacin wafatin (shahadar) mahaifinsa ko kuma Imamin da yake bi, don haka imamancin Imam Muhammad al-Jawad ya fata ne daga lokacin da mahaifinsa Imam Ridha (a.s) ya yi shahada sakamakon gubar da Ma'amun
ya shayar da shi. To sai dai lokacin komawar Imamanci wajen Imam Al-Jawad (a.s) ya fuskanci matsaloli masu yawan gaske, an samu abkuwar jidali da ka-ce-na-ce tsakanin mutane dangane da Imam al-Jawad (a.s) saboda karancin shekarunsa da kuma rashin kai wa shekarun balaga a lokacin shahadar mahaifinsa,
Imam Ridha (a.s). Litattafan tarihi sun nakalto mana wani sashi na wannan jidali da kuma cancantarsa ga imamanci a wadannan shekaru nasa.
Tun Imam Ridha (a.s) yana da rai irin wadannan mutane sun sha taso da wannan tambaya kan cewa wane ne zai kasance imami a bayansa? Ashe Muhammadu al-Jawad ba yaro ba ne? Ya ya za a yi yaro mai irin wadannan shekaru zai iya gudanar da wannan nauyi na imamanci? To sai dai a ko da yaushe
Imam Ridha (a.s) ya kan tabbatar musu da cewa Muhammadu al-Jawad dai shi ne wanda zai gaje shi da kuma kasancewa Imam a bayansa.
Ibn Kaulawiyya ya ruwaito daga Kulayni, daga Husain bn Muhammadu, daga al-Khairani daga babansa cewa: "Wata rana na kasance a wajen Abul Hasan al-Ridha (a.s) a garin Khorasan, sai wani mutum ya ce: 'Ya shugabana! Idan rai ya yi halinsa, wajen wa za mu koma? Sai ya ce
masa: "Wajen Abu Ja'afar, dana, (kamar mai maganan yana kokwanto kan shekarun al-Jawad, sai Imam Ridha ya ce masa), Allah Ya aiko Isa a matsayin Manzo, Annabi, ma'abucin shari'a alhali shekarunsa ba su kai na Abu Ja'afar ba(1)"
Mu'ammar bn Khallad ya ce: "Na ji Imam Ridha (a.s) yana cewa - sai ya ambaci wani abu - sai Imam ya ce: "Me kuke bukata da hakan, ga Abu Ja'afar nan na zaunar da shi a matsayina, hakika mu Ahlulbaiti, yaranmu suna gadon abin da manyanmu suke da shi ne sau da kafa(2)".
Ga kadan daga cikin abin da Allamah Majlisi ya nakalto mana na abubuwan da suka faru a wancan lokacin kan imamanci:
"A wannan shekara wasu malamai da mutanen garin Bagadada kimanin tamanin sun kuduri aniyar zuwa aikin hajji, don haka suka kama hanyar Madina don ganawa da Abu Ja'afar al-Jawad (a.s), lokacin da suka iso kofar gidan Imam Sadik (a.s), sai suka shiga suka zauna.
Daga nan sai Abdullah bn Musa(3)ya zo wajensu ya zauna tare da su, sai wani mutum ya mike ya ce: 'Wannan dai dan'uwan dan Manzon Allah (s.a.w.a) ne, duk wanda yake da wata tambaya yana iya masa ita'. Sai jama'a suka fara tambayoyinsu kan mas'aloli daban-daban
shi kuma yana amsa musu, lamarin da ya ba wa malaman mamaki da ban haushi saboda sun fahimci cewa amsar da yake ba su ba haka ne ba, don haka sai suka tashi za su tafi.
Sai wani bawan Imam ya bude musu kofa ya ce: "Wannan Abu Ja'afar (a.s) ne, sai suka mike tsaye suka gaishe shi da nuna ban girma gare shi, sai ya shigo yana sanye da riguna biyu da rawani da wani takalmi ya zauna. Sai wani mai tambaya ya yi tambayarsa, Imam (a.s) kuma ya amsa da cikakkiyar amsa ba tare
da kuskure ba, nan take suka yi farin ciki da yi masa addu'a, suna masu cewa: 'Baffanka Abdullah ya ba mu fatawa kaza da kaza (wasu suka gaya masa amsoshin da ya gaya musu). Nan take sai Imam al-Jawad (a.s) ya ce: "La ilaha illah! Ya Baffa, abu ne fa mai girma a wajen Allah ka tsaya a gabanSa ya ce maka, me ya sa
kake fatawa ga bayiNa da abin da ba ka sani ba, alhali kuwa akwai wanda ya fi ka sani cikin al'umma(4)".
Kamar yadda malamai da masana suka tabbatar da matsayin Imam al-Jawad (a.s) duk da karancin shekarunsa, haka nan ma muna iya ganin yardar Ma'amun ga wannan batu na imamancin Imam al-Jawad (a.s) lokacin da ya yi kokarin aurar masa da 'yarsa Umm al-Fadhl, kamar yadda kuma alkalin alkalan wancan lokacin Yahya bn
Akhtham ma ya tabbatar da hakan.
Irin wannan yanayi dai ya sanya Abbasiyawa suka mika kai ga irin daukakan ilmi da falala da Imam (a.s) yake da shi, musamman ma bayan wata mukabala da Ma'amun ya shirya a fadarsa tsakanin Imam al-Jawad (a.s) da alkalin alkalai Yahya bn Akhtham bayan da suka nuna rashin amincewarsu da aurar da 'yarsa ga Imam (a.s) da ya yi.
Don tabbatar musu da daukaka da falalar Imam al-Jawad (a.s), sai Ma'amun ya shirya taron mukabala da ya samu halartar manyan gari da wasu masu fadi a ji, inda Yahya bn Akhtham ya fara gabatar da tambaya ga Imam, Imam kuwa ya ba shi cikakkun amssoshi.
Daga cikin tambayoyin da Yahya ya yi wa Imam har da cewa: "Me za ka ce kan mutumin da ya kashe wata dabba (ya yi farauta) alhali yana sanye da harami? Sai Imam (a.s) ya ce masa: "Wannan tambaya taka ba ta cika ba, don ya kamata ne ka fadi shin wannan mutumin yana cikin haramin ne ko kuma wajensa, shin yana sane ne ko
kuma jahili ne, shin wanda ya yi kisan yaro ne ko babba, bawa ne ko da, shi ne ya yi kisan da kansa ko kuma ya taimaka ne, shin dabbar da aka kashe tsuntsu (mai tashi) ne ko kuma, shin dabbar karama ce ko babba, ya yi farin ciki ne kan abin da ya aikata ko kuma ya yi nadama, shin da daddare ne ya yi kisan ko kuma da rana ne, shin haramin na hajji ne ko kuma na umara".
Nan take sai Yahya bn Akhtham ya dimauce bai san abin da zai ce ba(5).
Irin wadannan abubuwa dai da ma wasunsu na daga cikin abubuwan da suka sanya malamai, masana, sarakuna da dai sauransu suka amince da kuma yarda da imamancin Imam al-Jawad (a.s) don ci gaba da tafarkin iyayensa na isar da sako da shiryar da al'umma duk kuwa da karancin shekarun da ya ke da shi.
